STOOT WEBSITE

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: August 14, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to STOOT. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit the STOOT website and use features such as the community comments system.

STOOT is an independent game project. We aim to collect and handle only the information necessary for the website's features to operate.

2. Information You Provide

The STOOT website allows visitors to voluntarily submit community comments.

When you submit a comment, you provide:

  • The name you enter when posting the comment.
  • The text of your comment.

Names are limited to 40 characters and comments are limited to 1,000 characters.

You should not include passwords, financial information, private contact information, or other sensitive personal information in a public comment.

3. Community Comments

Comments submitted through the STOOT website are stored in the website's database so that they can be displayed to other visitors.

Comments may include the name and message that you voluntarily provide. Comments may also receive likes from other visitors.

The STOOT administrator may respond to comments. Administrator replies may be displayed publicly together with the original comment.

Because comments are publicly displayed, do not post information that you do not want other visitors to see.

4. Comment Likes

Visitors can like community comments.

To help prevent the same visitor from repeatedly liking the same comment, the website creates a random visitor identifier in the visitor's browser.

This identifier is stored in the browser's local storage and is sent to the website when a visitor likes a comment. The identifier is used by the comment system to recognize whether that visitor has already liked a particular comment.

The website does not use this visitor identifier as a login account or as a password.

5. Information We Do Not Intentionally Request

The STOOT community system does not require visitors to create an account.

The comment form does not ask visitors to provide an email address, telephone number, or password.

Visitors should nevertheless avoid voluntarily posting sensitive information in public comments.

6. Data Storage and Service Providers

Community comments and information required for the comment and like features are stored using services provided by Cloudflare.

The STOOT website uses Cloudflare's infrastructure to provide website and database functionality.

Information may therefore be processed by the service providers required to operate the website.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The STOOT website currently uses browser local storage for the visitor identifier used by the comment-like system.

This identifier is generated by the website and does not require you to create an account.

Your browser may also store information according to its own settings and the services used to operate the website.

8. Advertising

The STOOT website may use third-party advertising services in the future to help support the development and maintenance of the website and game.

If advertising is introduced, advertising providers may use technologies such as cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and terms.

This Privacy Policy will be updated if the website's advertising practices change.

9. Children's Privacy

The STOOT website is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.

Visitors should not submit sensitive personal information through the public comments system.

10. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect the website's systems and stored community data.

However, no internet service can guarantee complete security of information transmitted or stored online.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the STOOT website or its features change.

When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page together with a new "Last updated" date.

12. Contact

If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the STOOT website, you can contact the STOOT developer through the contact information provided on the official STOOT website.

A dedicated contact method may be added to the website in the future.
